Senator Wiener’s Statement on Trump’s Threat to Send Immigrants to Sanctuary Cities

San Francisco –  Today, Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) made the following statement on Trump’s threat to send immigrants to sanctuary cities:

“We welcome immigrants to San Francisco with open arms. Given that immigrants built this country, make our communities better places, and are coming here to work hard, start businesses, and raise their families, this temper tantrum by the President isn’t a punishment—it’s a benefit”
