Senator Wiener on Restoring Net Neutrality

February 27, 2018

Sacramento –  Today Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) issued the following statement on the national day of action in  support of restoring federal net neutrality regulations:

“Today, I’m joining people from across the country to urge the United State Senate to pass legislation to undo the repeal of net neutrality by the Federal Communications Commission. As the author of a state bill to establish net neutrality protections in California, I would love nothing more for my bill to become moot because Congress acted to create federal net neutrality protections. A free and open internet is crucial to our democracy and to ensuring that all consumers have equal access to websites.”
